The little one is hungry? Let’s prepare a quick and tasty snack. We're only going to need a sweet potato.
Ingredients:
Let’s start cooking:
1. Cut a quarter of the sweet potato.
2. Clean and wash it, then cut it into tiny pieces.
3. Steam the tiny pieces.
4. When it’s ready, smash the potato and add some still water until it reaches the desired consistency.
Even though you can use any kind of still water, the European pediatric societies strongly recommend water with a smaller concentration of sodium than 20mg/L. So, before you buy still water from the market, carefully check the sodium concentration on the label.
Sweet potato is not just a delicious vegetable, they are an excellent source of fiber and many vitamins (A, C, B6, niacin) and minerals (manganese, potassium, copper).
