Steamed beetroot with parsnip

Hello there, let's prepare a warm and tasty snack even for babies who have just started weaning. We need just a little beetroot and parsnip.

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 parsnip
  • 1/4 beetroot
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Let’s start cooking: 

1. Clean and wash the vegetablescut them into tiny pieces and steam them. 

2. After cookingsmash the beetroot with parsnip and add a teaspoon of olive oil. 

3. If you want to dilute the composition of the pureeadd a little still water. 

As the baby gets "older", I recommend you to gradually start giving up on diluting his/her food. All right, it's time to set more and more ambitious goals for him/her. Bon appetit!

When you go to the market or the supermarket, you can recognize a fresh beet after the green leaves. I also recommend choosing medium-sized beets, because in general they have a sweeter taste and will be a delight for your little explorer's taste buds.
